13 days and counting

The dreaded day is coming up way to quickly. I'm heading back to work on Jun 16Th. Just days after Garrett turns 1. Uggh I have no idea how I'm going to do it. I'm going to be a wreck. Mike took off the week I go back to work to transition Garrett in to daycare. If I do the transition it probably would not happen :-) Garrett and I are enjoying our remaining time off. I think he will have lots of fun at daycare and will make lots of friends and learn lots of new things. It is just going to be soo hard. Our SW gave me a good pep talk last week so that helped.

I think work is going to very lonely. My Co-worker will most likely be going on her 6month leave right when I come back. They are getting really close to meeting their daughter in Korea. I'm soo excited for them. The sad side is I'll be sad she not there and I'll be missing Garrett.

In 11 days it will be Garrett first birthday. We have been busy planning his big day. Yesterday we went and got Garrett's professional photos done. They turned out really good. I'm going to pick some up tomorrow. I'll see if I can scan and post a couple. He looks so cute in his Hanbok. We are sending one of him in his hanbok to his foster mom. I hope she likes it.

I'm sure you are so excited for Garrett's 1-year birthday celebration! I can't wait to see photos! Going back to work will be tough, I'm sure. Mike will do a great job in transitioning Garrett to daycare. Garrett's going to have such a blast at daycare, and I'm sure he'll be the favorite there! (How could he not be, after all?) Enjoy your next couple of weeks!
